You’ve got months to plan right? Like a year or so? So how do you forget something?

I bring this to your attention as I happened to do just that, even me the one who is always drowned in wedding talk. The day before my lil brother’s wedding, his fiancé says to me “Oh my God! We forgot the unity candles!”. How? I wanted to punch myself in the face. Here I was in another state so no tools to produce anything. Thank God her sister is creative and managed to save the day!

So here are the top 10 things brides forget to do before their big day:
• Vendor meals – you should look after the people who are running around for you all day
• Bomboniere
• Cake knife and toasting flutes
• Tech chargers – all important social media status update
• Passport and identification for when you’re off overseas the next day
• Unity Candles – LOL
• The Fashion Aid Kit – Bandaids, oil blotch paper and double sided tape a must!
• Bringing the overnight bag
• The Busta (envelope) box – or just hand it to Nonna

And last but not least…

• The invitation suite – Brides should remember to pack at least one full invitation suite and any other stationery details (rehearsal dinner invites, shower invites, save-the-dates) that were mailed out during the engagement and  have them there in the bridal prep suite the day of the wedding. Try to bring two sets — so that your photographer can shoot the front and back of the invitation in the same frame.
